We are proud to offer pet-friendly accommodations so you can travel with your furry companions! If you didn't already at the time of booking, please indicate if you will be traveling with dogs in your booking, as we charge a small additional pet fee as part of the convenience.

Some pets shed more than others! We realize that it’s impossible to eliminate all shedding when dogs are having so much fun on vacation, but we would greatly appreciate it if you can help keep pet hair to a minimum by bringing a pet blanket for whenever your pet is snoozing on a soft surface!

We do not allow parties or events on the premises, and the maximum occupancy should not exceed 5 guests at any point, 24 hours a day.

We get questions all the time about rehearsal dinners, weddings, baby showers, and all types of gatherings. Unfortunately, we don't have the capacity to accommodate groups larger than our maximum occupancy.

Many towns in New Hampshire set strict occupancy limits based on bedroom and sleeping area counts, and as hosts we plan our parking and trash removal based on our occupancies, so we do not have the capacity for parties and events. Plus, we try to be good neighbors for those who live in our community full-time.

The Lancelot Shores at Baxter Lake community consists of both vacationers and year-round residents.Please know that we have great neighbors but they are very particular about noise during quiet hours, so please help us continue to be a good neighbor by keeping the noise low after 10 pm every night. As you enjoy the property, please be mindful that our neighbors behind our home and to the left of our home live here year-round.

Lancelot Shores at Baxter Lake features three private beaches for your use. The closest beach, “Beach #2,” is about a 4-5 minute walk down the road, across from 254 Camelot Shore Drive. Walk out the front door and toward the main road, turn left, and you will find Beach #2 just about 0.2 miles away. Beach #2 offers a boat ramp with easy access to launch your kayak, canoe, or motorboat. Dogs are not permitted on Beach #2. About 500 feet past Beach #2 is Beach #3. Beach #3 is dog-friendly.(FYI, Beach #1 is tucked away down a hill on the far corner of Lancelot Shores.)

For an entirely different beach experience, Nimue's Cottage is located under an hour from large Lake Winnipesaukee beaches such as Weirs Beach in Laconia, NH and Ellacoya State Park in Gilford, NH.

Also under an hour's drive are the Atlantic Ocean beaches in the Maine Seacoast towns of Ogunquit, York, Wells, and Kennebunkport

You will be able to access Nimue's Cottage with your custom door code, which we will send to you during the days prior to your arrival.

Check-in time is anytime after 4:00 PM. Occasionally we accommodate early check-in if we have a gap between guests.

Check-out time is anytime before 10:30 AM

Our home is a smoke-free home. Please do not smoke or vape anything inside the building. The smell of tobacco and cannabis is very strong, We do not charge a security deposit because we trust you. But I really must emphasize no smoking or pot in the house. The smell lingers for a long time, and that’s not fair to us or to our future guests, many of whom bring young children to this house (as do we). While small amounts of cannabis are decriminalized, recreational use is still technically not legal in New Hampshire.

Yes! We have a Solo Stove which works great for campfires with your friends or family. We don't supply firewood or kindling, so be sure to stop at a grocery store, hardware store, or one of the many roadside stands on the drive in.
